Soul Dad?

It was after making this unfortunate lede* that the news of Don Cornelius's passing reached my screen. Speaking of R-E-S-P-E-C-T, no disrespect to Soledad O'Brien, but to say it is inconvenient timing, makes it sound like there could be any better. A loss of this kind is sad, but did it have to happen this month?
